Hair Services

From cuts to colours to perms and deep conditioning treatments, The Gilded Pear offers all kinds of hair services to men, women and children of all ages.

We encourage you to try future services with any of our highly trained staff. We work as a team, so whether you need a change or your preferred stylist is unavailable, we are always happy to see you at The Gilded Pear.

Laser Treatments

Our Estheticians have been specially trained to use our new Broadband Light Source (BBLS™) laser system. We now offer permanent hair reduction, photorejuvenation, skin tightening, and acne and roseca therapy.

If you are thinking of getting any laser treatment, it is recommended that you wear at least SPF 40 sun block and stay out of the sun as much as possible. Tanning bed and natural sunlight tans must be a month old on your skin before performing any laser treatments.

Permanent Hair Reduction

Not all hair sits at the same depth, and our BBLS™ can target different depths and sizes of hair follicles, providing consistent, safe and quick results. Effective for leg, arm, chest, face, bikini, and underarm hair removal. Each treatment should be done 8-12 weeks apart with no waxing in between. Hair must be shaved off 24 hours before service.

Photorejuvenation (Photo Facials)

Photo facials are usually done over 2-3 treatments, and are ideal for treating age spots and some redness. Photorejuvenation is not limited to just the face; it may be done on hands, upper back, and upper chest (decollete). After a session, your skin will look refreshed and renewed. This innovative technology allows for a high peak power with multi-synchronized pulses to provide an effective and safe treatment for telangiectasias, broken capillaries and benign brown pigmentation from sun damage or photo aging. For the first 10 days after treatment, the age spots are lifted to the surface and will darken. After this time, they will be sloughed off. To avoid having the age spots or problem areas return, you must wear a sun block with SPF 40 whenever you will be exposed to sunlight or UV. Skin Tyte

This amazing treatment is done over 5-6 sessions, and will rejuvenate the collagen in your skin to make it tighter and firmer. This procedure treats large areas with sub-surface dermal heating that stimulates new collagen growth for firmer looking skin. This technique provides excellent results while maintaining a high level of client comfort.

Acne Therapy

Our BBLS™ treats a wide range of acne conditions for a smoother, more even complexion. The light source penetrates the skin and dries out the sebaceous glands, thus killing the bacteria and acne. This procedure is usually done up to 6 or 7 times for effective results.

Rosacea Therapy

For clients with rosacea, we treat the redness by constricting the broken capillaries to calm down the affected areas of the skin. For rosacea it takes roughly 3 to 5 treatments to see results, and each appointment should be booked 3 weeks apart.

Waxing & Tinting

Our well-trained Estheticians are able to provide our clients with a wide variety of waxing and tinting services. We offer brow, lip, cheek, face, underarm, arm, leg, chest, back, and bikini waxing, including the Brazilian. For tinting services we offer both brow and lash tinting; a great way to achieve darker, fuller looking eyelashes and brows without mascara or liner.

Massage & Wellness Therapies

For those with persistent medical conditions such as sprains, strains, whiplash, carpel tunnel, fibromyalgia, TMJ, arthritis, general pain, stress, sore muscles, upper and lower back pain, sports injuries and even pregnancy, we have two Registered Massage Therapists on staff available to assist you as well as a variety of alternative massages and therapies to meet your therapeutic needs.

If it's just pure relaxation you're looking for, our Massage Therapists can most certainly provide that too. The Gilded Pear offers massages that are the definition of relaxation, or you could try a luxurious body wrap with a de-stressing session of aromatherapy.

Hot Stone Massage

One of the most relaxing forms of massage therapy is a hot stone massage. Smooth, flat stones are heated to a comfortable temperature and then placed on key points on the body. The warmth of the hot stones improves circulation and calms the nervous system, which promotes relaxation. The therapist then uses the stones to apply pressure during the actual massage to release muscle tension.

Pomegranate Scrub & Chocolate Truffle Body Wrap

The definition of decadence is a relaxing pomegranate sugar scrub followed by a chocolate truffle body wrap. It sounds good enough to eat, and your newly rejuvenated muscles and skin will thank-you for it. The best part? 0 calories!

Pedi & Nail Care

Pamper your feet and they will thank you for it. At The Gilded Pear, we help you do just that. We offer pedicures for both women and men in our relaxing massage chairs with soothing foot bath. If you want the ultimate pedicure, we recommend our Spa Pedicure which includes a paraffin foot dip.

Your hands and nails should not be neglected either. Indulge in a regular or french manicure (with a paraffin hand dip if you choose), a new set of gel nails, or even a fill.

Sothys Facial Care

What better way to pamper what people see first than with a rejuvenating deep cleanse facial with optional eye, hydrating, or anti-aging treatment. If you're looking for a quicker less intense facial, we offer both a mini and an adolescent facial.

Using the Cirrus 500 machine with our facial treatments is what makes The Gilded Pear's facials stand out among the rest. A facial using the Cirrus 500 includes a soft brush deep cleansing, desincrustacian to decongest and clear the complexion, iontophoresis to enhance penetration of active ingredients, acti-vac to soften wrinkles and improve circulation, and high frequency to heal blemishes, calm the skin, and promote penetration of product.
